How we obtain and deliver it
After you pay by card through Stripe on this page, we request the Full Search Report from the BVI Registry of Corporate Affairs through the VIRRGIN system; this is not a manual attendance at a Registry counter. The electronic PDF is sent to your email within 1 business day and is also available for download in your customer area. If we cannot obtain the document, you receive a full refund by the same payment method.
Who asks for it
Banks, compliance officers and KYC teams order a BVI Full Search Report when they must review a British Virgin Islands company's public file before opening an account, lending, or onboarding a counterparty. Lawyers, notaries and accountants use the copies of filings to check incorporation documents, registered agent details and the public transaction history.
Business owners abroad use it when a foreign bank, auditor, buyer or contracting party asks for the complete BVI company file rather than a short search or a Certificate of Good Standing alone. Courts and tax authorities sometimes ask for registry material; whether this electronic PDF is accepted is for the receiving party to decide.
Validity, apostille and related documents
The report is accurate as at the search date printed on it and does not reflect filings submitted but not yet registered. There is no fixed validity period stated on the document. Receiving parties typically want a recent search, so you should confirm with the bank, notary, court or authority how recent the PDF must be.
This product is an electronic search report with copies of public filings. It is not a Certificate of Good Standing, not a directors list, and not an original paper certificate. Apostille or consular legalisation is a separate path that applies to original or certified registry documents, not typically to this electronic full search file. If the receiving party requires an apostilled document, check with them before you order.
What a BVI Full Search Report contains
A BVI Full Search Report is the complete public company file for a company registered in the British Virgin Islands. It combines an updated search report with copies of all public documents filed with the BVI Registry of Corporate Affairs. The opening pages show the date of search and state that the information is accurate as at that date.
The profile lists company name, company number, company type, date of incorporation or registration, current status and status date, the current registered agent (name, address, telephone and fax) and the current registered office. Share and capital information includes the maximum number of shares the company is authorised to issue and whether it may issue bearer shares. A previous names history appears if the company has changed name.
The transaction history lists filings with date, transaction number, description, status and related e-forms or attachments. A certificate history lists certificates on the file, such as certificates of incorporation and past certificates of good standing. Those entries are historical. A new Certificate of Good Standing is not included and must be requested separately.
Attached copies are the public documents on the file at the search date. Depending on the company, they may include the memorandum and articles of association, the application for incorporation, name reservation records, annual fee submissions, requests for certifications and other forms processed by the Registry.
What this report does not include
Current director names are not included. A director name may appear inside a filed document in some cases, but that is not common and is not guaranteed. Shareholder names and beneficial owner information are not available. This report is not a Certificate of Good Standing, not a directors list, and not a notarised or apostilled original.

Who uses the complete BVI company file
Banks and compliance officers use the report for KYC when a British Virgin Islands company is a customer or counterparty. Lawyers and notaries review the memorandum and articles, registered agent details and transaction history before they prepare opinions or transaction documents. Accountants keep the PDF on the due-diligence file. Business owners abroad order it when a foreign bank, buyer or contracting party asks for the BVI company documents in one pack.
The report includes the standard disclaimer of the Registrar of Corporate Affairs and the Financial Services Commission. Neither assumes responsibility for accuracy, completeness, later unregistered filings, or the consequences of using the information. Treat the file as a snapshot as at the search date.
How this product differs from other BVI registry documents
A shorter BVI Search Report covers the profile without copies of all filed documents. A Full Search Report with Directors is a different product. A British Virgin Islands Certificate of Good Standing is a separate certificate. Legalised or apostilled documents follow another process. If a court, tax authority or notary requires an apostilled original, confirm with the receiving party before you order. Receiving parties also decide how recent the search must be; ask them how old the PDF may be.
